What makes your services special?
I am a licensed esthetician, who is also insured, working under the state laws & regulations for Indiana makeup artists. While there are some basic guidelines for makeup applications, I don’t take a cookie cutter approach to doing makeup. I know that this is not a “one size fits all” job, so I make every application custom to the client. I am also combining creativity, with years of training, so I feel confident addressing any concerns. I focus on bringing out your strengths & drawing attention away from the weaker/or more problematic areas of the skin. It’s also important to note that while I am obviously trying to make a living, I do not look at my clients as mere dollar signs. I sincerely care about all of my brides & want to make sure that they are 100% happy with the work that I’ve done. I can honestly say that just about every bride I work with ends up feeling like a friend by the time we’re done with her wedding. I really consider it a privilege to make sure that she feels prettier than ever on her wedding day. This is not just my career, it is my passion & I strive for that passion to reflect in my work.
Do you offer airbrush makeup & what is the benefit?
The coverage can range from sheer to opaque & will help to minimize skin imperfections, while giving skin a beautiful & natural looking finish. The formula itself is extremely resistant to tears, sweat & skin’s natural oils. This also helps to stretch the longevity of the makeup and provide you with a 12-15 hour wear, with minimal touch ups required. Another definite “must” in my book is the application of individual false lashes. This will draw the reaction you are hoping for…turn heads & make his jaw drop! 🙂 Each lash is applied individually & helps to build upon the overall volume and length of your lash, without looking too “over the top”.
Do you come to me on the wedding day?
Do I have to do a trial run?
How can I reserve my wedding date with you?
How far in advance do I need to book your services?
Will my makeup really last all night?
While all of the makeup I use is very longwearing/waterproof, I do suggest that my brides have the following items to touch up their makeup throughout the night: a translucent powder (or blotting papers) to minimize any shine, as well as a lipgloss to touch up lips. I will gladly suggest products & colors! You will be amazed at the longevity of these products though! I’ve had several brides follow up with me after their wedding, to thank me for the fact that their makeup was still going strong after the reception!
What else would you like for me to know before booking with you?
Help! I need referrals for other vendors (photographer, planner, florist, videographer, hairstylists, DJ etc.), can you refer anyone?
